Heyyyyyyy
So not much has been going on lately that is overly exciting. I chill during the day while Josh is at while and preoccupy myself with the t.v. and Internet. Around 5ish Josh gets home from work and then we spend time together until he falls asleep. On the weekends we hang out with Alfonso, Josh's marine buddy, go to the movies, eat... random stuff. I like the weekends because I get to leave the apartment and go out. Usually Josh is to tired to do much during the week, which is understandable, but I do tend to get stir crazy.
So last blog I was talking about the good and bad of Arizona. I realized that I forgot a couple things that I found interesting.
1) There's no cash for recycling cans and bottles. I realized this once I got down here and was very disappointed. It's sad because we have a growing collection of cans and bottles. There are only two options for disposing of them: recycling or throwing them away. I've decided on the first. I found a recycling drop off point not to far away from the apartment. It's better than nothing I guess, but it still isn't as exciting because there's not cash money coming out of it. I know you shouldn't do good things just because of a reward, but still...it doesn't hurt.
2) There are these weird cool misting thingies at restaurants with patios and outside shopping centers. It makes sense since why they exist it's so hot down here, but it's still odd to me. They feel really good actually.
3) Out by the highway, which is about 10 minutes away from my apartment, there are three huge circular structures. I'm pretty sure they're for water collecting purposes, but I could be wrong. They have multicolored mountains painted on them. I think they look cool buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut maybe that's just me.
That's all I can remember wanting to talk about, at least for now. I'm bound to think of something else eventually.
My digital camera randomly disappeared. I have no idea what could have happened to it. Last thing I knew, I put it in the front closet and it is no longer there. Sooo I guess the closet monster decided to eat it for a bedtime snack. I hope it shows up somewhere. If not I'll have to go get a new one, which isn't so tragic because I was considering doing it anyways, now I have an excuse.
With some inspiration from my cousin and my new surroundings, I've decided to re-explore my astronomy hobby that I go on and off with. I bought a couple books off amazon, which hopefully come in the mail soon. I have a pretty good view of the sky from my apartment and can see most of the sky. One of these nights I'll have Josh drive me somewhere out in the middle of nowhere where a lot more stars will be visible. It will be nice to bring my telescope down here, even though it's a cheapy thing. Having that will be better than nothing and I might invest in a pair of binoculars down the road.
GOOD NEWS!! I'm coming home sometime this week. I have to be out of my apartment on the 19th, so I will be coming home to get my stuff out and help Maria clean everything. Unfortunately, Josh won't be coming with me. The Marines are still being obnoxiously and unnecessarily slow. I'm pretty sure a ADD chimpanzee could get things organized faster than this. SUPPPPERRRRRRR FRUSTTURRATTINNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Though I am excited to come home and see all my family and friends, I'm a tad weary because I don't really want to have to deal with an extended period of seperation from Josh. It's not something I enjoy having to go through, but it's necessary. I can't wait to have my stuff down here and my babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! I'm super excited about seeing my puppy, which I'm still not sure of what name I want to dub it.
Alright well it's getting late and I'm going to try to catch some zzz's. Hope all is well where ever you may be.
Goodnight
